During 2017 alone, with out federal or state funding but through vigorous fundraising efforts and generous donations, PTS was able to accomplish the following:
Provided at a minimum, 24 months of safe, clean affordable, permanent housing for well over twenty-five homeless disabled veterans, individuals with a physical or mental disability, chronically homeless, recovering from substance abuse or elderly. Each location remained fully furnished with free laundry services, monthly donations of household cleaning supplies and food, accented with wrap around services that included intensive case management, transportation assistance, credit repair, and meaningful volunteer opportunities just to name a few.
Provided over $2,000 in transportation assistance to those needing help getting to and from work, making it on time to a job interview, to receive counseling, and to receive medical treatment and/or educational services.
Delivered food and clothing to over fifty families and individuals in need during normal or inclement weather.
Connected 95% of our clients in need of critical mental health services within 24 hours.
Assisted volunteers with completing over 3,000 hours of community service hours.
Donated over five hundred toys to children in need during the Christmas holiday season.
Provided housing placement referrals for severely disabled and chronically homeless individuals or families, advocacy services, and organizational payee services to nearly one hundred referrals submitted to PTS..
